Update at 2pm: BAM will be closing. So this show won’t happen tonight but will be rescheduled.
The blizzard is on, but as of this writing (8:45am) so is this show. So if things are working well enough tonight to venture out, this is where you should head. And BAM is located just across the street from the the Fulton Street stop of the G train, with the 2, 3, 4, 5, C, D, N, R, and Q trains all within 2-3 blocks.
Native New Yorker Dina Regine is a a photographer, a DJ and a musician. Recently, she released a wonderful record, titled Right On, Alright. That record is full of brand new songs that harken back to mid-60s rock, pop and soul. Those songs are not slavish imitations, but heartfelt rechannelings brought into the present.
Tonight, at 9pm, Dina will bring that music into BAM Cafe Live. Joining her will be an all star band which includes Tim Luntzel, Jon Cowherd, Andrew Borger, Shaky Dave, Michelle Casillas, and Erik Deutsch.
