Over at The Rockwood Music Hall at 9pm, you’ll find Aly Tadros. Aly plays Americana, folk rock and folk, and blends them together with classical music as well. Aly is originally from Texas, and spent some time in Austin before deciding to move here and make New York City her home. Although her mother was from Texas, her dad was from Egypt, which adds some Middle Eastern influences to her music as well. Aly recently played The Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival outside of Austin. Perhaps Aly will talk about that tonight. If you are a friend with Aly on Facebook or follow her on Twitter, you’ll know that she loves bacon, so maybe we’ll hear about that too.
