Tonight: A Tribute to The Lovin’ Spoonful at The Treehouse at 2A

Lovin Spoonful Tribute

It’s been months in the planning; tonight it’s finally here.  It is A Spoonful of Lovin’, a tribute to the 60s band The Lovin’ Spoonful.  Tom Clark, Sal Maida, Andy Riedel, Dennis Diken, Craig Chesler and Charles Roth will be joined by a passel of other musicians as they recreate the songs and the sounds of this band from long ago.  Treehouse proprietor Tom Clark even learned how to play the autoharp for this.  I’m sure that Summer in the City will be on the set list, but I doubt there will be a jackhammer solo like the original.  Still, this should be a fun show.  Get there early to grab one of the limited number of seats.

A Spoonful of Lovin’, A Tribute to The Lovin’ Spoonful, Treehouse at 2A, 25 Avenue A at 2nd Street (F Train to Delancey Street or 2nd Avenue, use the 1st Avenue exit or J Train to Essex Street), doors 8:30pm / show 9pm, No Cover (but a contribution for the musicians is highly encouraged)
