Tonight: Four Choices

Choices Large

Sunday night has become quite a busy one for music lately.   Tonight there are four shows which merit your attention, each one in a different corner of the city.

In Park Slope, at The 12th Street Bar and Grill, you’ll find the next installment of The Radigan Roundup.  Tonight, host Terry Radigan will play with Gerald Menke and Andrew Sovine, and will also welcome Rony Corcos and Vicki Kristina Barcelona to the microphone.  The show starts at 7pm.

In Clinton Hill, at Putnam’s Pub Upstairs, you’ll find Andi Rae and The Back River Bullies playing.  Sunday night at Putnam’s is acoustic, so you’ll see Andi Rae and the band play an acoustic set of their original Americana and folk rock.  Things get going here at 8pm and will continue through to 11pm.

Back in Manhattan, right near the dividing line between the East Village and the Lower East Side, The Treehouse at 2A will welcome this month’s installment of the Field of Stars.  Presented and hosted by Monica “Li’l Mo” Passin, tonight’s edition of this popular singer-songwriter sitting around singing series will tonight feature Jesse Lege, Johnny Jake, Erica Weiss and of course “Li’l Mo”.  Seating at The Treehouse is tight, so it’s best to get there at 8:30pm.

Finally, in Williamsburg, at Brooklyn’s best Texas honky tonk, Skinny Dennis, you find Michaela Anne and The Wild Hearts playing Americana and alt country.  Michaela Anne used to be a local, but she moved to Nashville last year, so take this opportunity to welcome her back.  The music here will get going at 9pm and will last though to midnight.
