Kristin Diable is a singer-songwriter I discovered when she was living in New York City and frequently playing here. A few years ago, Kristin moved back to her native Louisiana and now makes it to NYC only a few times a year. Kristin’s music is a combination of rock, folk and blues all held together with an amazing voice made even more astonishing with a Louisiana drawl. She has a new album ready to be released on February 24th. It’s called Create Your Own Mythology and the couple of tracks that have made their way to the Internet sound quite good.
Tonight marks the first of several shows that Kristin will be playing in the Big Apple over the next week or so. This time out, Kristin is playing with a full band. Tonight’s show is an early one, 7pm, and there is no cover for it.
