Tonight: Three Intriguing Choices

Choices Large

If you’ve had enough turkey and want to step out of the house and see some live music, tonight offers you some very intriguing choices.  You’ll find the first of those choices over in Park Slope.  Terry Radigan has recently begun a Sunday night series called The Radigan Roundup at The 12th Street Bar and Grill.  Tonight, Terry will be joined by Adam Bernstein, Paul Carbonara, Cosmos Sunshine, Alex Battles and, Terry notes, “a few star drop ins” as well.

On the last Sunday of the month, Tom Clark, who runs  The Treehouse at 2A, turns the programming over to Monica “Li’l Mo” Passin.  The result is the series called the Field of Stars (originally held at the late and lamented Banjo Jim’s).  Tonight’s show consists of singer-songwriters Homeboy Steve, Drina Seay, Tom Clark, George Gilmore and Monica “Li’l Mo” Passin (of course) sitting around singing at the comfortable, homey Treehouse.

Just a few blocks away from 2A, Rony Corcos will lead her band, Rony’s Insomnia, through a  set of psychedelic-tinged rock at The Rockwood Music Hall Stage 2 starting at 10:15pm. Tonight’s show is the CD release show for the band’s brand new record, so this show show be an exceptional one.

Terry Radigan, Adam Bernstein, Paul Carbonara, Cosmos Sunshine, Alex Battles and others, 12th Street Bar and Grill, 1123 8th Avenue at the corner of 12th Street, Park Slope (F Train to 7th Avenue, use the 8th Avenue exit), 7pm, No Cover, (but a contribution for the musicians is highly encouraged)
