Over at The Rockwood Music Hall at 9pm, you’ll find Aly Tadros. Aly plays Americana, folk rock and folk, and blends them together with classical music as well. Aly is originally from Texas, and spent some time in Austin before deciding to move here and make New York City her home. Although her mother was from Texas, her dad was from Egypt, which adds some Middle Eastern influences to her music as well. And if you are a friend with Aly on Facebook or follow her on Twitter, you’ll know that she loves bacon.
Aly will be celebrating her birthday at tonight’s show. To fit the occasion, the show will be with a full band, and Aly promises some surprises. If you never have seen Aly or heard her music, tonight is the opportune time to start.
