Tonight: The Baseball Project at Rough Trade

Baseball Project Sings The National Anthem at Fenway

There’s only one rock band that writes and plays songs only about the national pastime.  Of course that’s The Baseball Project, and the fact that they’re gig last night was in Cooperstown, New York should make that clear.  Tonight they’ll be playing much, much closer: Rough Trade in Williamsburg. TBP will be fielding an all star line up which will be ready to attack some of their songs with three guitars:

Scott McCaughey (Vocals, Guitars, Keyboards, Bass, Percussion, SF Giants)

Steve Wynn (Vocals, Guitars, New York Yankees)

Linda Pitmon (Drums, Percussion, Vocals, Minnesota Twins)

Peter Buck (12- and 6-string Guitars, Fender VI Bass, Banjo, Washington Senators)

Mike Mills (Bass, Vocals, Atlanta Braves)

This show will be fun and will really rock.

The Baseball Project, Rough Trade, 64 North 9th Street Williamsburg between Kent and Wythe Avenues (L Train to Bedford Avenue), 9pm, $20
