Tonight at The Bowery Electric, you’ll find Alejandro Escovedo. Perhaps you’ve heard of Al, perhaps not, but his is a name that you should know. Over the years, Al has been involved in bands which run the gamut from punk through string quartets. But at base, Al is a rock n roller.
Al shines in live performance, and tonight as a chef might say, you’ll get to see Al two ways. First at 8:30pm, Al will play a short solo acoustic set. Then at 9:30pm, he will play with a full band. Sitting in on bass tonight will be Now I’ve Heard Everything favorite Catherine Popper.
This is a great show. If you like rock, you should take the opportunity to spend this evening with Al.
