Thanks for the great review, Now I’ve Heard Everything! So thrilled you like the album! I just wanted to add that, in addition to Eric Seftel’s stellar skins-pounding, original Spanking Charlene drummer (and my fellow bandmate in Eric Ambel and the Roscoe Trio) Phil Cimino lent his considerable talents and expertise to *Where Are the Freaks?*, playing drums on six of the album’s fourteen tracks, including “Secrets,” “You Suck,” “The Other Girl,” and more. Also, Nate Schweber contributed my personal fave harp solo since Exile-era Stones on the album’s title track. Lastly, “Little Stevie” Van Zandt not only produced “Dismissed With a Kiss” and “Canarsie” (and was one of the coolest people I’ve ever met, much less had the great honor of working with! Eric “Roscoe” Ambel, too, was a dream–and always is, every single time!–to have the privilege & honor of work with, both onstage and in the studio under his brilliant command!), but played keyboards on those two cuts, as well.
