Tonight: (is) boy (Misty Boyce and Band) at The Rockwood Music Hall Stage 2

The name of the band, (is) boy, is new, although the band itself has been around for nearly two years. It’s the band lead by Misty Boyce, and tonight after midnight, they’ll take the stage, playing songs from the album they’ve been busy recording lately.  What you’ll hear is original keyboard based, synth flavored indie pop.  And the show tonight is being recorded as well.   Check out a video of one of (is) boy’s songs by clicking here.

  1. Misty opened for Alexz Johnson in Fairfield, CT on July 30th and BLEW ME AWAY. There was so much talent on stage that night, and I can’t get Misty’s songs out of my head.

Misty is the real deal. She’s playing with (is) boy again on August 29th in NYC at The Rockwood Music Hall at 10:30pm. If you make that show, you will see more of what Misty can do. In any event, (is) boy has a single coming out shortly.
