Instead of a show tonight, here’s a talk about music. Dennis Elsas was a part of seminal New York City rock radio station WNEW-FM. Back in 1974, he even had John Lennon on the air for a two hour magical mystery tour during which John talked, played music and even did commercials. Dennis currently has daily shows on Sirius XM and WFUV.
Tonight, at 92Y Tribeca, Dennis will share interview highlights, reflections on growing up with Top 40 AM radio and his unique perspective as a pioneer of the progressive FM radio revolution.
