The Baseball Project played a spirited nearly two hour long show at Maxwell’s in Hoboken Thursday night. The set started off with (Do The) Triple Crown, the song released earlier in the week, and included Baseball Project staples such as Past Time, Ted Fucking Williams, Satchel Paige Said, Fernando, Jackie’s Lament, Sometimes I Dream of Willie Mays, The Yankee Flipper, a re-reworked Harvey Haddix, The Closer, a couple of new songs plus Steve’s That’s What You Always Say, Days of Wine and Roses, Amphetamine, The Minus 5′s Lies of the Living Dead, McCartney’s Smile Away and The Ballad of John & Yoko.
Maxwell’s is a tough place to shoot pictures and getting the band together in a shot last night just wasn’t possible. So here are photos of all four band members presented in the order that they were on stage, from left to right.
