James Maddock and his band, John Shannon (guitar), Drew Mortali (bass), Aaron Comess (drums), Oli Rockberger (piano and keys) and Leslie Mendelson (backup vocals and tambourine) played for nearly two hours at Rockwood Stage 2 on Thursday night. Playing a mix of old and new songs, including a few from what James always claims was the “million selling Wood album” (Wood was James’ band back about 10 years ago). This gig was the warm up for next month’s stint at Rockwood Stage 2, which James announced will be recorded for his next record, a live one.
