South by Southwest (usually written SXSW and that’s how I’ll refer to it from now on) is a music (and movie and web) conference and festival which is held in Austin, Texas every year in mid-March. This year is no exception and SXSW (the music part of it anyway) will begin on Wednesday, March 17th and continue through Sunday, March 21st.
SXSW is a music lovers dream with 2000 bands playing in 80 clubs over four nights. There are also unofficial shows each day and night. All of which adds up to continuous music for the better part of a week. Now I’ve Heard Everything will be providing coverage of SXSW as it happens, so don’t change the channel, especially in mid-March.
